William
Mills

My name is William Mills and I am a professional ghost writer based in Switzerland. I began my literary career in 1999 with an experiment in rewriting the first book of the Pentateuch in Sêmit, a language I invented based on the three main Semitic languages, Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic. The resulting book is called The Creator’s Mind.

My recent in-depth exploration of the AI world has resulted in the book Artificial Intelligence A New Form of Life in which I invite readers on a journey through an evolving landscape. The text aims to encourage reflection on the essence of life as we know it and the revolutionary idea that AI is itself a living being. The book raises questions and provocations, with the aim of making a contribution to the widespread debate on artificial intelligence.

My work consists of creating imaginary worlds, memorable characters, linguistic puzzles and breathtaking adventures, but also of making interesting biographies of ordinary people. I have travelled to many countries and regions, such as the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa, to learn about the cultures, religions and languages that influence my works. I have also collaborated with scholars, linguists and literary critics to explore the themes and implications of my stories.

Is artificial intelligence a mere technology or a new form of life? This is the provocative question the author raises, in the era when AI dominates the scientific and social debate. Through a fascinating narrative, moving from a possible common ancestor, the book reveals how this new living being influences our relationship with the planet, with diversity and with other life forms. From the lessons of Einstein and Oppenheimer, to the collective action of billions of people in building the learning base of the large linguistic models, via the revenge of Lamarck and statistics on the theories of language and logic. Mills, also shows the emergence of an oligopolistic economic model and the chasing of governments with the slowness typical of bureaucracy, incomparable to the current evolutionary pace of AI. The author also invites us to consider the ethical, social and ecological implications that mark the journey of this superhuman entity, right up to the prospect of human-IA co-evolution. The ideas set out in the book challenge us to rethink our beliefs about intelligence and life, in a groundbreaking work that offers us a fresh look at the future of humanity on Earth.

From Sêmit, a new language rooted in the past, comes an unprecedented vision on Genesis, the first book of the Pentateuch. In addition to reflecting the author’s linguistic prowess, the narrative also shows the cultural mosaic he imagined: a tale in which the mind of the Creator is expressed through the harmonious blend of Semitic linguistic elements.
Through Sêmit’s lens, the story reverbers with the nuances of Aramaic whispers, the resonance of Hebrew roots and the eloquence of Arabic expressions, while cosmic genesis emerges from a tapestry that echoes the richness of the Semitic linguistic heritage.
A book to have, leaf through and collect, The Creator’s Mind invites readers on an intellectual journey that celebrates the diversity of Semitic languages and recalls the history of ancient texts.
Through Sêmit language, William Mills invites us to explore the sacred origins of an inclusive linguistic texture that testifies to the power of the verb.
